Research Interest

To Predict and explore the novel advanced functional materials such as Half-metallic Heusler alloys, Multiferroic materials, Metal-oxides, 2D-Dichalcogenide materials (MoS2 and WS2), Thermoelectric materials, electrocatalyst and materials at bulk, thin film and nano level for technological applications through first-principles DFT calculations and experiments.

Experienced in explore the electronic structure properties of Half-metallic Heusler alloys, multiferroic materials and metal oxides through first-principles DFT calculation.
2007-2009 PG project - Gandhigram Rural Institute, Dindigul India. Thesis entitled “Synthesis and Characterization of Mn doped ZnS nanoparticles” using chemical precipitation method”. 1 2010-2014 4 years of experience in Handling Labs for B.Tech and M.Sc., physics courses under MHRD HTTA (Half-Time Teaching Assistantship) scheme at NIT Tiruchirappalli.
