Dr. E. Vinoth is an Assistant Research Professor at the Nanotechnology Research Centre, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur. His research focuses on condensed matter physics, with particular expertise in quantum emitters, gas sensors, and optoelectronic devices. Dr. Vinoth has contributed to the development of high-performance photodetectors and gas sensors, including work on p-MoS2/n-Si heterojunction photodetectors for near-infrared detection. He earned his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, and has held postdoctoral positions at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and SRMIST. Dr. Vinoth is a member of professional bodies such as the IEEE Photonics Society and the IEEE Sensors Council.
