Dr. Govind Ambadas Vangari is currently serving as a Senior Scientist at the Nanotechnology Research Centre (NRC), SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur Campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology and possesses a strong academic and research background with interdisciplinary expertise in gas sensors, photocatalysis, and biosensing. His research primarily focuses on the development of high-performance sensing platforms for the detection of toxic gases and biomolecules under ambient conditions, contributing to sustainable and smart sensing solutions. He has authored more than 10 research articles in reputed national and international journals, reflecting his dedication to scientific innovation, academic excellence, and impactful research. Dr. Govind has extensive hands-on experience in operating a wide range of advanced analytical and characterization instruments, including Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-SEM), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), Hall Effect Measurement System, Thermogravimetric Analysis/Differential Thermal Analysis (TG/DTA), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), UV–Visible Spectroscopy, and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR).
