Dr. J. Archana is currently serving as a Professor (Research) in the Department of Physics and Nanotechnology at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Her research primarily revolves around the synthesis and design of innovative nanomaterials aimed at enhancing the performance of energy conversion systems, including dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) and thermoelectric devices. Over the course of her career, she has received several prestigious honors, such as the JSPS Invitational Fellowship Award (Japan, 2022), the Mother Teresa Woman Scientist Award (2022) from Mother Teresa Women’s University, and the Young Scientists Research Award from DAE–BRNS (2017). She was also awarded the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship between 2013 and 2015. Dr. Archana has an extensive publication record with more than 155 peer-reviewed articles to her name. Her research impact is reflected in an h-index of 27, an i10-index of 80, and over 2,580 citations.
