Dr. M. Geerthana is an Assistant Professor at the Nanotechnology Research Centre, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur. Her research focuses on developing nanostructured materials for energy harvesting applications, including supercapacitors and photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting. She specializes in electrochemical analysis using nanomaterials coated on substrates like nickel foam and fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) glass. She was awarded the Women Scientist – A (WOS-A) Fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) from 2018 to 2021. Her research interests encompass supercapacitors, PEC water splitting, fuel cells, nanotechnology, and material science.
