Dr. K. Monikapani

Post Doctoral Fellow
Nanotechnology Research Centre

Dr. Monikapani specializes in advanced characterization techniques for functional materials, with hands-on expertise in thermoelectric and structural property evaluation. She routinely employs the ZEM-3 system for measuring Seebeck coefficient and electrical resistivity, and utilizes the LFA 467HT for thermal diffusivity analysis via laser flash method. Her structural investigations are supported by X-ray diffraction (XRD) using Panalytical systems, while UV–Visible spectroscopy (JASCO V-750) is applied for optical property studies. She also has experience in thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) using DTG-60A and elemental analysis via FlashEA (Thermo Electron). For carrier transport and mobility studies, she uses the Van der Pauw Hall measurement system (Ecopia HMS 5300), and performs vibrational spectroscopy with Raman spectroscopy (LAB-RAM NRS 7100). Her broad technical proficiency supports her research in developing and analyzing next-generation materials for energy applications.
