K. PRITHIGA

I began my doctoral studies in June 2026 with a strong foundation in chemistry and materials science, focusing on the development of advanced nanomaterials for NO₂ gas sensing applications. My research aims to address key challenges in gas-sensing technologies, including achieving a low limit of detection (LOD), a wide and linear detection range, high sensitivity and selectivity, rapid response and recovery, long-term stability, and scalable fabrication. In particular, the development of compact and gas-sensing devices requires sensor materials with excellent electrical and surface properties, fast response, low power consumption, and reliable performance.
