Mr. K. Anbarasan

Mr .K. Anbarasan began his doctoral research in January 2025, focusing on Metal–Organic Framework (MOF)-based materials for biological element sensing. A core goal of his work is to develop sensing materials with femtomolar detection limits, high selectivity even in complex biological matrices, and real-time response capabilities and particularly interested in the use of rare-earth-based MOFs and hybrid nanostructures that combine MOFs with other functional materials (e.g., graphene, quantum dots, or metal nanoparticles. The broader impact of this research includes early disease diagnosis, real-time monitoring of metabolic disorders, and smart wearable biosensors. As MOFs continue to evolve in complexity and function, they offer an exciting platform to bridge the gap between molecular recognition and practical sensing devices.
