Ms. A. Jasmine Christilla

I began my doctoral studies in July 2025 with a focus on gas sensor technology for safety and environmental monitoring. My interest lies in exploring sensor mechanisms for detecting flammable and toxic gases such as LPG, methane, and CO. I aim to contribute to the development of high-sensitivity, selective, and low-cost gas sensors suitable for real-time applications. As a physics researcher, I am gradually expanding my understanding of sensor working principles, signal transduction mechanisms, and their potential integration into smart systems.

Gas sensors for environmental and industrial safety applications

Detection of flammable and toxic gases using semiconductor-based sensors

Application of gas sensors in real-time air quality monitoring and IoT integration
