Ms. S. Deepalakshmi

I began my doctoral studies in june 2025 with a foundation in chemistry and focuses on designing and optimizing sensing systems capable of detecting toxic and environmentally significant gases with high sensitivity and selectivity. My research bridges chemical intuition with material innovation, aiming to engineer high-performance sensing materials and investigating , sensor architecture, and  electronic properties influence detection performance under various conditions. My approach includes synthesizing nanostructured sensing materials, modifying surface functionalities, and evaluating gas-sensing behavior using standard characterization techniques.

Development of advanced gas sensors for environmental and industrial applications.

Investigation of sensitivity, selectivity, and long-term stability of sensor systems.
