Ms. T. Ragavi is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) under the Dual Degree Program (DDP) jointly offered by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), India, and Shizuoka University, Japan. She holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics from Jamal Mohamed College, Tiruchirappalli, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from The American College, Madurai. Her research interests are centered on the synthesis and characterization of binary metal oxide materials for advanced gas sensing applications. She is particularly focused on exploring the structural, morphological, and electronic properties of epitaxial thin films deposited via pulsed laser deposition (PLD) techniques. She is keen on understanding the correlation between thin film growth parameters and their functional performance in detecting various gaseous analytes, aiming to contribute to the development of highly sensitive and selective gas sensors
