N. Naveen Kumar is currently a Research Scholar at the Nanotechnology Research Centre, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India, since June 2026. He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Materials Science from Alagappa University, Karaikudi. His doctoral research focuses on the development of advanced nanostructured materials for chemi-resistive gas sensing applications. His research involves the design, synthesis, and characterization of functional nanomaterials to investigate their structural, morphological, and sensing properties for the detection of environmentally and industrially relevant gases. The primary goal of his research is to enhance the sensitivity, selectivity, stability, and response characteristics of chemi-resistive gas sensors, contributing to the development of reliable and high-performance sensing technologies for environmental monitoring, industrial safety, and healthcare applications.
